@ Living Stone Farm we feel allowing our meat birds unrestricted access to forage and certified organic whole grain feed yields happy and healthy birds. We raise Freedom Rangers for meat as these birds range farther and stay active until their last day. Although our birds take almost twice longer to raise than the traditional Cornish Cross many raise, we find their health qualities to be a worth the wait.
Paola and Edmund Livingstone both come from the education field. Paola as a Spanish Teacher, and Edmund as a Early and Middle School Special Educator. Paola is a native from the Dominican Republic and has a farming background. Edmund has a woodworking background, and together they use these skills to teach others at the farm how to take care of the animals and how to build the infrastructure as needed.
