There will be no summer market for 2021 but online ordering continues weekly.

The Plymouth Outdoor Farmers’ Market has operated weekly from May to Sept on Thursday afternoons over the last twenty years.  Local Foods Plymouth stepped in to run the market in 2015 when the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit in Plymouth decided to no longer run it. Since 2015, the outdoor market has been held at the Plymouth Senior Center and was enjoyed by many residents and visitors.  In 2020, during the pandemic, Local Foods Plymouth turned their attention to expanding their on-line farmers market and added curbside pick up and home delivery. Due to the complexities around the implementation of safety protocols and lack of staff capacity, LFP decided not to run an outdoor market in 2020. Sadly, in February 2021, Local Foods Plymouth had to make the tough decision between running the summer outdoor market or continuing to meet the growing demand for our on-line market and curbside pick up. LFP decided to not run the outdoor market any longer.  LFP urges other community organizations to consider taking on running an outdoor market be it weekly or once a month. We have a list of vendors and farmers we are happy to share with anyone in the community that would like to organize the market. If so please let us know by emailing  localfoodsplymouth@gmail.com
